Fish Escape!
Made in under 2 days for the GMTK Jam 2023
Jam Theme: Roles Reversed
My Idea: A fishing mini game (like in Stardew Valley) but instead of the fisher, you play as the fish. Try to escape from the fishing hooks after you've been caught!
Instructions: |
1. Touch the hooks to get the worms attached to them so that you don't go hungry. 2. Escape the hooks by completing the mini game. If you fail, your hunger meter increases back to what it was before. 3. Get to end. |
Narrative: |
As time passes, you get more and more hungry. Conveniently, there are hooks all over with delicious worms on them. Inconveniently, these hooks are trying get you! Get the worms, escape the hooks and keep going until you reach the end! |
Controls: |
Left click (or space): swim up
Right click: swim down Escape: pause |
You can swim on the floor to go faster (but this also increases your hunger meter). |
